HFSS and Planar EM Simulators > CPW and Slotline PortsCPW and Slotline Ports are allowed and can be configured in light of the following. • On a Ground layer, edge selections must be co-linear and co-planar. • The CPW mode can also be solved on a Signal layer by selecting only the single conductor and sizing the port appropriately. • Slotline excitation with a waveport will not work. However, various configurations using lumped-gap ports are possible.
