VCVS Transformer Netlist Format

The format for a voltage-controlled voltage source transformer is:

Exxxx out+ out- [VCVS] TRANSFORMER in+ in- [TURN_RATIO=]ratio

out+ and out- are the output nodes for the transformer. The entry VCVS is the default for the E element type. The entry TRANSFORMER selects the E element transformer type. in+ and in- are the control nodes for the transformer.

The TURN_RATIO entry specifies the ratio of the input winding to the output winding of the transformer. The TURN_RATIO= prefix may be omitted, but a ratio value must be specified.

The equations for the VCVS transformer are:

V(out+) - V(out-) = [V(in+) - V(in-)] / TURN_RATIO

I(in+, in-) + TURN_RATIO ´ I(out+, out-) = 0
