Chain-Based ABCD Element (Netlist Only)

 

Netlist Format

The chain-based ABCD element has the following Nexxim netlist syntax:

Axxx a1 b1 a2 b2 [CHAIN_PARAM=val] [DELAYHANDLE=val]
+ A_real='expr' A_imag='expr'
+ B_real='expr' B_imag='expr'
+ C_real='expr' C_imag='expr'
+ D_real='expr' D_imag='expr'
+ COMPONENT=chain_based_abcd

a1, a2, b1, and b2 are the nodes attached to the ABCD element.

The entry COMPONENT=chain_based_abcd is required.

Notes

1. The ABCD element is available for use in netlists, but is not supported in the Components window of the Designer Schematic Editor.

2. Nodes a1, a2, b1, and b2 are related by the ABCD parameters according to the following formula:

3. The CHAIN_PARAM entry specifies the number of identical copies (minus one) of the ABCD matrix to be chained (matrix multiplied):

An entry of CHAIN_PARAM=0 (the default) uses one ABCD matrix.
