           Scalable and Nonscalable Fonts

TrueType fonts cannot be scaled (enlarged or shrunk in size). The height of a TrueType font is always specified in points.

A stroke font can be scalable or nonscalable. To indicate that a stroke font is scalable, specify its height in the current units (cm in the illustration above). The height of a nonscalable stroke font is specified in points.
