64-bit Linux System Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Supported processors: AMD Athlon 64, AMD Opteron, Intel Xeon with Intel EM64T support, Intel Pentium 4 with Intel EM64T support

• Hard Drive Space (for Designer software): 2200 MB

• RAM: 2 MB

Recommended Minimum Configuration (for Optimal Performance)

• Supported processors: AMD Athlon 64, AMD Opteron, Intel Xeon with Intel EM64T support, Intel Pentium 4 with Intel EM64T support

• Video card: 128-bit SVGA or PCI Express video card

• Hard Drive Space (for Designer software and temporary files): 8000 MB

• RAM: 16 GB

Note

If you attempt to open an older Designer project in Linux, you receive an error message that the project must first be converted to the current release of Designer. This must be done using the -BatchSave command on a non-Linux system running the current release of Designer. For more information, see Running Designer from the Command Line.
