The Designer Desktop > Customize Keyboard ShortcutsYou may use the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog to customize hotkeys that are associated with various Designer menu commands. To open the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog select Tools > Keyboard Shortcuts.

 Some Designer menu commands have multiple contexts, and you can use the various Keyboard Shortcuts dialog controls to assign different shortcuts for different contexts. • Select the category of command in the Categories window. • Select the actual command itself in the Commands window. • Use Shortcuts for selected command together with the Remove button to remove a shortcut that is currently assigned. Shortcuts for selected command lists the shortcuts (if any) that are currently in use for the selected command. • Use Use new shortcut in and Press new shortcut key together with the Assign button to assign a shortcut to a command. Use new shortcut in allows you to determine the context of the shortcut (Global, Layout, Schematic Editor). Type the keyboard shortcut you would like to use in the Press new shortcut key window. • Shortcut currently used by displays the current use (if any) of the shortcut entered in Press new shortcut key. • Click Save to store your shortcuts to a file. • Click Load to load previously-defined shortcuts from a file. • Click Reset to Default to reset the selected command to its default setting. • Click OK to save your changes and close the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog, or instead click Cancel to close the dialog without saving changes. New shortcuts you define for a command will appear in both the pull-down and right-click menus that contain the command(s) you have customized.
