The Netlist Editor

The Netlist Editor

Designer automatically generates a netlist from any schematic design (Nexxim or System). Simulation is actually run from the netlist description, using simulation controls that are set up from the Schematic editor. The Netlist editor allows you to view the netlist that has been generated for a schematic design.

In addition, the Nexxim simulator allows direct entry of a netlist. The Nexxim netlist simulation uses simulation controls that are written directly into the netlist. This feature allows for the import of netlists in HSPICE™ format from third-party design capture tools for simulation by Nexxim.

The netlist editor uses a color-coding scheme to highlight the various elements of the netlist, such as components, options, and numerical values.
